Parks and Recreation
Offering both a peaceful repose and opportunites for education and enjoyment, there are eight parks within Princeton's borders which make use of the areas natural resources. The twisting east and west branches of the Rum River join together in the city, and the expansive Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge is nearby.
Public Schools
Independent School District #477 has an enrollment of approximately 3,500 students and employees over 375 people. There are four separate school buildings all located in the City of Princeton. The school district is located in southern Mille Lacs County, but the district includes portions of Isanti, Sherburne and Benton counties.
