Welcome to Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce
At the junction of the east and west branches of the Rum River, Princeton became a city in 1856. Now with about 4500 in the city of Princeton and 20,000 in the area, it is one of the largest cities in Mille Lacs County. Princeton has a strong business economy with a library, a number of pharmacies, restaurants, manufacturing firms, and creative retail shops.
The Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1926 to promote the Princeton area. It is an organization comprised of businesses, civic groups and individuals from every segment of the community. The PACC is financed through membership investments and creative fund raising efforts. It is not a tax-funded government organization.
The PACC first filed Articles of Incorporation with the state of Minnesota, on May 28, 1957. The purpose of the Chamber is to unite local commerce, civic organizations and citizens for the benefit of all with the common goal to strengthen and promote the community.
Current membership is made up of over 140 small and large businesses, organizations and individuals from every segment of the community. The Chamber is a non-profit organization financed through membership investments and creative fund-raising efforts.
